A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a collision on the M25 which happened just after 11.20pm last night, Monday, March 19.
An articulated lorry was in collision with an Audi between junctions 26 and 27 on the anti-clockwise carriageway.
The lorry overturned and left the carriageway, rolling down the verge.
Two women were pronounced dead at the scene while a man and a child were taken to hospital.
The child, a girl aged ten has life threatening injuries. The man was not injured.
The clockwise carriageway is open and a part closure of the anti-clockwise side is being managed by Highways England.
A 32-year-old man remains in police custody this morning.

Highways England has said there is still a 60-minute delay while lane 1 remains closed awaiting recovery units which are due at 9.30am when lane 2 will have to be closed as well.
