A PROVISIONAL date has been announced for Colchester's second annual Pride festival.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 18, under a new name of Colchester Has Pride - a day of education and celebration.
Last summer was the town’s first official Pride in the town, organised by Outhouse East which is sponsoring this time round, and saw more than 2,600 attend.
Worldwide Pride festivals are a celebration of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities and those which support them.
