If you are 18 and over and not prone to jumping out of your skin, then a scary event in Chelmsford could be the expereince for you.

Created by Chelmsford City Council’s award-winning events team, the Sandford Project is taking place on the night of Saturday 28 October.

Under cover of darkness, guests will be transported from the protection of Chelmsford’s designated Safe Zone to the project’s classified CM location. After going through quarantine, subjects will be taken on a disturbing trail, encountering the Project’s horrors face-on.

Those lucky enough to survive the Sandford Project will reach the Decontamination Ball, where food, drink and celebrations await. Fancy dress is not compulsory, but is encouraged – the best will be rewarded.

The Sandford Project is strictly for those aged 18 and over.

The Sandford Project is not suitable for those who are faint-hearted, pregnant or claustrophobic. Strobe light effects, smoke machines, loud noises and actor physical interaction will be used throughout the experience. Suitable footwear is also strongly recommended - so don't wear stillettos.

Tickets go on sale from 10am, Tuesday 19 September 2017.
