Man arrested following robbery at shop
A MAN has been arrested following a robbery at a shop in Maldon Road, Colchester.
Police arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of robbery at about 12.20am today.
He remains in custody for questioning.
At about 2.50pm on Wednesday, August 16, a man walked into the Golden News shop and threatened a member of staff with a broken bottle before demanding cash from the till.
He then fled the scene with hundreds of pounds in cash.
