CHILDREN got creative during the summer holidays taking part in a sensory workshop.
Majestic Kids organised a sensory festival called It’s a Small World, which was held at Colchester Arts Centre.
The four-day festival invited children aged between seven and 11 to play, create musical instruments, make music, learn dance moves and enjoy drama improvisations and a whole host of arts and crafts.
At the end of the four days the 20 children came together to put on a performance for the parents.
The children enjoyed working together to make the props and choreograph the show.
Rosie-Roella Kevlin, from Colchester Arts Centre, said: “It’s all about playing with passion and the children learnt how to build up a story.
“They made their own sets and performed two plays. One of the boys said he wished it was his whole life - it was fantastic.
“It’s the first time we have worked with Majestic Kids and we would love to do it again. The parents said the children all grew in confidence.”
