POLICE are appealing for information following a fire in Chelmsford which destroyed one car and damaged another.

A car was set on fire in Cedar Avenue West at around 5.30am on Sunday, May 21.

The car was destroyed and another vehicle was damaged.

It is being treated as arson.

Officers are keen to trace three men seen in the area at the time.

Two of them were described to police as white and the third as mixed race.

One of them was wearing a red top.
