DRIVERS who used their mobile phones to film a crash on the A120 could be prosecuted, the police have warned.
Drivers slowed down to film a vehicle which had rolled over on the Braintree-bound carriageway near Dunmow, at around 1.40pm yesterday.
Emergency services attended and a man and a woman, who were cut out of their vehicle by fire crews, were taken to hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.
The road was closed for around an hour to allow the vehicle, which was towing a trailer, to be recovered.
The police warned using mobile phones while driving is potentially dangerous as the drivers are not able to fully concentrate.
The drivers police spotted will be receiving letters in the post notifying them of a pending prosecution.
