A12 blocked in both directions between Galleywood and Three Mile Hill by vehicle fire
Delays are forming on the A12 between the Junction 16 at Galleywood and junction 15 at Three Mile Hill due to a vehicle fire.
Firefighters from Brentwood, Chelmsford and Great Baddow tackled the blaze, which was reported at about 1.17pm today.
Update 1.33pm: The A12 is blocked in both directions between the Junction 16 at Galleywood and junction 15 at Three Mile Hill due to a vehicle fire.
Delays are forming in both directions.
Update:1.57pm: The northbound carriageway has reopened and delays are beginning to ease.
Update 2pm: One lane closed between J16 (Galleywood B1007) and J15 (Three Mile Hill A414) Delays back to J17 Howe Green.
