SUCCESSFUL children’s author Nick Butterworth enchanted pupils with a visit to St John’s Primary School, Colchester to help celebrate the school’s end of termparade.
Mr Butterworth, who has sold 12 million books, had some valuable advice for the older pupils delighting the youngsters with a book reading.
Headmaster Nick Hutchings said: “The man is lovely, kind and open. He talked to all the children about how to be creative in writing, and spoke to the older pupils about taking an idea and turning it into a story.”
