SCHOOLCHILDREN turned alien investigators when a “spaceship’’ landed in their playing field.
Once specialists had made the crash site safe, curious pupils at Boxted St Peter’s Primary School wrote about what they had witnessed.
They also measured craters caused by the landing, took part in astronaut training and watched chemistry experiments. The space landing was staged as part of the school’s science week.
