A Maldon mum has been left “horrified” to hear a teenager was seriously injured in a play area - seven years after she raised concerns about safety.


Tracy Page claims she made a complaint to Maldon District Council after her daughter broke her leg on wooden posts surrounding the Oak Tree Meadow play area in Heybridge.
 

More recently, Maldon teenager Sam Richards suffered a serious head injury after falling onto the wooden posts.

Maldon District Council says it has no record of Mrs Page's complaint.
