Hundreds of family and friends paid their respects to a Burnham hairdresser and her boyfriend at their funeral.

Brad Cooper, 18, of Coxs Close, South Woodham Ferrers, and Abbey Parker, 17, of Bakersfield, off the Drive, in Mayland, were killed after they collided with two tractors in Burnham Road, North Fambridge on September 16.

Motorbike enthusiast Brad was riding the motorbike he got for his 17th birthday, with Abbey as his pillion passenger.

People packed into St Mary’s Church in South Woodham Ferrers on Thursday with over a hundred standing in the aisles and more standing outside, listening to speakers.

Friends wore leapord print scarves, coats, dresses and ties for Abbey and colourful clothes for Brad, on the request of their family.
