Maldon: Faces put to names of war heroes

A.C. Cudmer is one of those remembered.
Faces can now be put to some of names the Great War heroes whose plaques had vanished from a Maldon memorial.
Thanks to research by Maldon historian Stephen Nunn, the faces of these of these four fallen heroes have come to light.
He said: “It’s wonderful to look at them and think how our local lads made the ultimate sacrifice."
