A12: Police appeal after hit and run
Police are appealing for witnesses following a multi-vehicle road collision on the A12, just after junction 22 (the Witham/Coleman bridge junction) at 7.50am on Monday.
The vehicles involved were a silver Vauxhall Corsa, a red Ford Mondeo and a red Audi RS5 Quattro.
The driver of the Vauxhall, a 45-year-old woman was treated at the scene by paramedics and was conveyed to Broomfield Hospital by ambulance.
She sustained minor whiplash type injuries to her left ribs and back.
A black saloon is believed to have been involved in the incident but failed to stop. It is described as newish, like a Ford Mondeo but not a Ford Mondeo.
