Woodham Ferrers: Villagers film comedy video to recruit new vicar

Woodham Ferrers parish has not had a vicar for more than a year now.
But instead of waiting for divine intervention, church-goers have made a comical YouTube video to highlight the job vacancy.
They have literally demonstrated how the lack of a minister has left a big hole in parish life - with a cardboard cut-out clergyman.
The video, has now been viewed over 8,000 times, was decided upon after a meeting between churchwardens, the rural dean and the Bishop of Bradwell after there were no applications.
