Southminster: Harbour project branches out to Southminster

A successful social support group is expanding to Southminster.
The Harbour project, which is held each Monday morning at the Octagon in St Mary’s Church, off Church Street, Maldon, celebrated its fourth birthday this year.
The volunteer-run weekly coffee morning continues to grow in popularity and last year received a Volunteers Centres Essex Award from the High Sheriff.
Now the concept is spreading to the Dengie, with a similar event being staged each Wednesday from 10am to 12noon at the Parish Room in Queenborough Road, Southminster, from this week.
