Chelmsford: Long service medal stolen in burglary
Police are appealing for information following a burglary.
Between Wednesday, September 26, and Thursday, September 27, at Great Baddow, a rare long service medal and a Seiko watch was stolen.
The medal was silver coloured and inscribed with ‘Presented to FJ Kidd for 37 years service to the Post Office’ dated 1949 and had a red and white ribbon.
Investigating officer, Dc Wayne Lagden said: "This is a rare and distinctive medal and I am appealing for anyone with any information to contact us.”
