Burnham: New Chamber of Commerce chairman appointed
A new chairman of Burnham’s Chamber of Commerce has been appointed to guide the town into prosperity.
Robin Prior, who runs Priors Boatyard in the Quayside, took up the role at the chamber’s annual general meeting this week.
Mr Prior, who was previously treasurer for a year and a half, replaces Keith Williams, who stood down as chairman of the chamber after two and a half years.
He said: “I would like to see Burnham and the surrounding district prosper.
“We would like to make it a more pleasant place for visitors to visit.
“As the owner of a business that has been in Burnham for five generations I think I am in a pretty good place to see Burnham move into the future.”
