Bradwell: Power station staff raise £10,000 for charity

Staff and contractors at Bradwell power station have raised almost £10,000 for charity.

Around 80 people including the site’s contractors took part in a charity golf day at Burnham Golf Club hosted by Magnox Ltd, which also held a raffle, competitions and cake sales.

The £9,350 will be given to Essex Air Ambulance and Dengie First Responders.

A spokesman for Essex Air Ambulance said: "On behalf of the entire Essex Air Ambulance fundraising team and Air Crew we would like to thank Magnox for raising such a magnificent sum of money for the charity."
