Burnham: Raiders steal family's heirlooms
Family heirlooms, jewellery and cash were stolen in a daylight burglary in Burnham this week.
Thieves smashed their way into a house in Leslie Park between 2:30pm and 5:30pm on Thursday and took the large quantity of valuables.
Nobody was in at the time.
The owner of the house, who did not want to be named, said he had locked up the entire house as normal.
He said: “We didn’t do anything wrong, it’s such a shame and very upsetting.”
