Maldon: Garden 'destroyed' by caravan park owner
A homeowner's garden has been “destroyed” amid claims a caravan site owner cut down trees and bushes to repair a fence.
Alan Williams, 52, from Salcote Maltings, Millbeach, Maldon claims the owner of nearby Happy Days Caravan Park in Goldhanger Road took it upon himself to repair part of his fence, chopping down trees and plants in the process.
Mr Williams, a media and music businessman, said: “I came home one evening last week to see our garden completely changed.
“Fifteen foot trees had been chopped down so they were just a stump. I had to do a double take.
“The whole aesthetic of the garden is different. The caravans can now see into the garden and we can see them."

The site owner is supposed to act in a professional and responsible way, yet it looks like he has tampered with Mr. Williams' property without making any attempt to contact him first.
How would you like it if somebody decided to 'rearrange' your garden whilst you were out?
Disgusting behaviour.
I hope that Mrs. Williams recovers from this unsettling ordeal.
