Maldon: Prospective A Level pupil unhappy at options rebuff
A frustrated Maldon teenager claims subject clashes will “prevent students from achieving goals in life”.
The Plume School pupil, who is set to attend Plume Sixth Form next year, contacted the Standard to highlight the issue, which he claims is affecting “dozens” of Plume pupils.
The teenager, who asked not to be named for fear of damaging his rapport with teachers, said: “Students have been subject to option clashes meaning that the school is not letting us take the A Levels we want to next year.
“The clashes are because subjects do not match up in the timetabling documents."
