Heybridge: Sales manager stars on TV as Moto GP umbrella girl

A 25-year-old sales manager from Heybridge has found fame on TV after becoming a Moto GP umbrella girl.
Nicola Quilter, from Lawling Avenue, Heybridge, decided to apply to be an umbrella girl last year after years of watching Grand Prix motorbike racing with her family.
She said: “I’ve always been interested in Moto GP and bikes just generally interest me so I thought I’d give it a shot.
“It seemed like such good fun and I loved the idea of being there all weekend, meeting the racers and watching the races.”
