Maldon: Tickets available for charity roller disco
THE organisers of a charity event in Maldon are hoping to prove disco is far from dead.
An 80s roller disco in aid of the breast care unit at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford is being held at Sk8ters at the Madison Heights family entertainment centre, in Park Drive, Maldon, next month, and organisers hope to prove the fad is alive and well.
Those brave enough are even urged to dress in their very best 80s outfits.
Tickets for the event, which takes place from 6pm to 8pm on July 15, are priced at £5 for participants and £2 for spectators and are on sale now.
