Maldon: Film to inspire budding volunteers
Budding volunteers are invited to learn more about giving up their free time to help others.
The Maldon District Supported Volunteering Project is inviting potential volunteers to come along to a watch a film for more information.
Shot at both Action for Family Carers and the Museum of Power, the film shows volunteers supporting the organisations, as well as how they benefit personally from being involved.
It gives a taste of the different opportunities available, and of the health and mental health benefits of volunteering.
The film is about 15 minutes long and will be running on a loop throughout.
It will be shown from midday to 2pm tomorrow (June 19) at the United Reformed Church Hall, Market Hill, Maldon.
For more information or if you can offer help with catering, contact Jan Ward on 01621 851891.
Please email svproject@maldoncvs.org.uk if you would like to attend.
