Maldon: Council in the money according to report

Maldon's Butt Lane car park helps bring in the cash.
Maldon District Council is in the money according to its latest budget report.
In the last financial year, the council received an income of £1,881, 087.
Maldon town centre car parks were the biggest earner for the council, generating an income of £506,506.
While the Promenade car parks brought in £258, 610.
Income was also generated from land charges, development control, pre-application advice, building control, investments, sale of recycled materials and the Splash Park at Promenade Park.
