THE next stage of nuclear decommissioning could come earlier than planned at Bradwell power station.
Extra funding has been allocated to the station to move the winding down programme on by 12 years.
Bradwell is set to be given £71million in 2011/12, an extra £20million on the 2010/11 allocation, as part of a new approach towards decommissioning Magnox’ sites.
