TWO teenagers who had been arrested in connection with the murder of a chef in Southend have been released without charge.

The two men, aged 18 and 19 were arrested a short time after the murder of South Woodham Ferrers man Reynald Duchene on Saturday, June 26.

Mr Duchene had attended an open-air classical concert in Priory Park in Southend when he was stabbed in the chest at the junction of Priory Crescent and Victoria Avenue shortly after 11.30pm.

Two other men, Karl Wills, 21, from Milton Close in Southend, and un-named 23 year-old man of no fixed address remain the subject of police inquiries.

Mr Wills is currently in police custody until his appearance in Chelmsford Crown Court in Monday, September 27.

The other man is on police bail until Wednesday, August 25 pending further inquiries.
