COUNCILLORS accused of being “tight” have gone back on their decision not to grant money to the Burnham Art Trail.

Burnham Town Council opted to give the event £300 to help with its running costs, a month after initially refusing the request from organiser Tracy Saunders.

That decision led to councillor Rosie Buck calling her peers “tight”, and it was Mrs Buck who wrote a letter asking the town council to reconsider.

And several members of the council revealed at a meeting last night that they had changed their minds and were now willing to support the application.
