South Woodham Ferrers residents asked to point out potholes

RESIDENTS in South Woodham Ferrers are being asked to help get their town’s potholes filled in.

The town council is compiling a list of roads which have been badly affected following the freezing weather.

This will in turn be sent on to Essex County Council Highways department.

A statement on the council’s website said: “The town council will continue to put pressure on Essex County Council to improve the appalling state of some of our roads, in order to make them safer for residents and visitors alike.”

Residents should either contact South Woodham Ferrers Town Council or telephone Essex County Council directly on 0845 6037631.
