RESIDENTS are being urged to make their views heard about the future of nuclear power in Bradwell.
Exhibitions and a public discussion are being held in the district this week.
Maldon Town hall in Market Hill, Maldon will host an open exhibition on Friday December 11 from 8.30am until 6.30pm.
A similar event will be held at Bradwell village hall in South Street, Bradwell, on Saturday December 12 from 9am until 4pm.
A public discussion will also be held on Saturday from 9am until noon at Maldon Town FC in Park Drive, Maldon.
The events have been organised by the Department of Energy and Climate Change and will give members of the public a chance to find out more about the draft Nuclear National Policy Statement - which earmarks land next to the existing Bradwell power station for a new nuclear site.
