Youngsters lectured by river police

CHILDREN received a stern warning from police after messing about on the river.
Marine police were tasked to a group of youngsters playing in boats moored on the River Crouch at Burnham at about 4.40pm on Wednesday.
The youths were also throwing life rings into the water.
Police made the children replace the life rings and tidy the area.
