NATURE lovers are invited to take part in a tree walk.
The Elms Farm Park Conservation Group and Maldon District Council are holding a free guided walk around Heybridge's Elms Farm Park on Saturday May 17.
The walk will provide an opportunity to find out more about the wide variety of trees and shrubs that grow in and around the park.
Councillor Penny Channer, chairman of Maldon District Council's community services committee, said "This is an excellent opportunity for local people to find out what trees grow in the park, learn about some of the uses and traditions associated with them and to see how they are now being managed to enhance the wildlife value of the area."
The walk will be held from 10am until 12 noon.
Walkers should meet at the main entrance to the park, off the Heybridge Approach Road.
There is no need to book but for more information call Maldon District Council on 01621 875836.
