AN MP has launched a survey into road and traffic issues in Little Totham after residents raised concerns.

Witham MP Priti Patel, whose constituency includes Little Totham, launched her survey after meeting with Richard Siddall of Little Totham Parish Council and county councillor Mark Durham to review issues residents had with traffic in the village.

Village residents have previously raised concerns about the conditions of the village’s roads, the number of heavy goods vehicles passing through, and speeding motorists.

Ms Patel said: “Little Totham is a small village but gets affected by more traffic than its roads can cope with. The number of heavy goods vehicles passing through is a cause of concern and a solution needs to be found.

“A number of roads also need repairs and the survey will help to identify all the problems that residents experience.

“I am working closely with Richard and Mark to see what action can be taken to address these problems and improve the quality of life for people in Little Totham.”
