A FLOWER show has decided to cancel its dog show and scurry this weekend.
Whilst the Tillingham Flower Show will press ahead as normal on Saturday, due to soaring temperatures the show's committee has cancelled the dog show that was planned to protect the dogs' safety.
In an online statement, the committee said: "Due to soaring temperatures this week, the Tillingham Flower Show committee have unfortunately made the decision to cancel the dog show and Wobbly Ron's Dog Scurry at the flower show for the safety and well-being of the dogs.
"We encourage dog owners to not bring their dogs to the show in this heat. However, we will have a gazebo and water for any furry friends who do attend."
