The food and drink kiosk and trampolines would have been kept near the splash park in Promenade Park
A BID to temporarily install a mobile food and drink kiosk in Promenade Park has been refused.
S. J. Caterers wanted to put a kiosk next to the Splash Park within Promenade Park, but Maldon District Council turned down the plans stating the risk of flooding would be too great.
The council also turned down the company’s bid to have a four-person bungee trampoline in the same area, also citing flood risks and that it would not be in-keeping with the character of the area.
