Two men have been arrested in connection with a kidnapping in Maldon.
A man was assaulted and robbed of thousands of pounds in Shakespeare Drive, Maldon, on Saturday June 16.
Two men from Chelmsford have now been arrested in relation to the incident.
Ethan Sweeney, 25, of Tennyson Road, Chelmsford was arrested yesterday.
He has since been charged with robbery, kidnapping and causing grievous bodily harm.
He is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today.
A 26-year-old man from Chelmsford was also arrested last night on suspicion of robbery, kidnapping, causing grievous bodily harm and assaulting a police officer.
He remains in custody for questioning.
Essex Police are no longer looking for Tony Price, who they wanted to speak to in connection with the same incident.
