MEMBERS of the public will get the chance to try their hand at some traditional Japanese art in Burnham in the next few weeks.

Akiko Fujikawa, 70, is running workshops in woodblock printing and Japanese calligraphy as part of the Burnham Art Trail.

Workshops will be held at Chapel Studio in Albert Road, Burnham on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The 30-minute sessions cost £5.

You can also learn and practice Japanese calligraphy.

Each session of calligraphy will be two hours and costs £10.

Woodblock printing demonstrations are free entry and will be held at the Burnham Quay.
