A CRASH has left a busy Heybridge Road closed.
A crash involving an unknown number of vehicles on Maypole Road in Heybridge has left the road completely closed.
The closure is causing long delays on Holloway Road and Colchester Road in the town.
It is not known if any motorists are seriously injured.
The incident was first reported at 2.25pm with emergency services still at the scene.
The incident was cleared at around 6.40pm.
Heybridge - High Street/Maple Road CLOSED in both directions following an accident involving an unknown number of vehicles. Long delays on Holloway Road and Colchester Road (B1022).
