A DATE for a school reunion that has been planned for months has been set for this month.
A group of former students of Maldon Secondary School – now Plume Academy – in 1967 began to track down the last few members of their old year group in November last year to potentially organise a huge reunion in Maldon in 2018.
Keith Ruffle and Christopher Dunn have now secured a date of April 21 at the Blue Boar Hotel to host the reunion, which has seen 80 people confirmed to attend.
Mr Ruffle said: “We have done extremely well to nail down 80 people for this reunion, we’re very happy that it’s going ahead and looking forward to seeing everyone again.”
The reunion will begin on Saturday April 21 at 7pm at the hotel.
Anyone from the year group who has not already confirmed their attendance are welcome to go along.
