A WOMAN was freed from vehicle wreckage after a crash on a road near Latchingdon.
Crews from Essex Fire Service were called to the scene in Maldon Road this morning at approximately 9.06am with reports that two vehicles had been involved in a crash.
One woman was trapped in the wreckage of a vehicle. Crews worked at the scene and managed to cut her free by 9.46am.
She was left in the care of the ambulance service. It is not known how serious her injuries were.
The ambulance service has been approached for comment.
