Warning after spam emails sent from town council address
Maldon Town Council has warned people not to open a spam email sent from one of its email addresses.
A number of spam emails sent from the town clerk address asked people to open a link and "review and sign a document".
The town council has confirmed these are not genuine emails and advised people not to open them and delete them straight away.
It is not known how many emails have been sent.
