CONCORD Rangers made it three consecutive wins in the National League South as they continued to maintain their upsurge in form.

The Beach Boys were looking for a third straight league win as they bid to stretch away from the relegation places.

Steve Cawley headed wide for Concord and they were to get the first goal of the afternoon against a side aiming for a play-off berth.

Khale Da Costa got the opener, continuing his excellent recent form with a curling strike into the far corner.

It was a close contest although the home team remained in the ascendency and they made it 2-0 four minutes after half-time.

Eddie Oshodi fouled Ben Greenhalgh in the penalty area and the forward made no mistake with his spot kick.

Looking for a third straight league win for the first time in 13 months, Concord had defended manfully only for the Stones to strike back.

Oshodi netted following a corner to make for an interesting final 15 minutes.

But Concord were to have the last laugh, Harry Lee striking home emphatically from outside the box to secure the points.
