A VILLAGE will host its last share fair of the year this weekend.

St Lawrence began hosting a series of fairs this year in which residents swap skills, stories and community spirit, but no money.

They will be hosting their last fair of the year on Sunday from midday until 4pm.

This fair will have representatives from the Eden Project in Cornwall, who came up with the idea.

The Share Fair programme is funded by the National Lottery’s Big Lottery Fund, and, along with The Big Lunch, is one of the main initiatives run by the Eden Project.

Last year saw more than 7.3 million people take part across the UK in the initiatives that aim to connect people and create friendlier areas.

The fair is completely free and takes place at Jubilee Field in the village.
