FATHER Christmas will be hosting a unique workshop at an aerodrome this season.

A 100-year-old Royal Engineers Workshop is set to become the Christmas legend’s home on specially selected dates in December at Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome.

Father Christmas will be joined at the aerodrome by two of his reindeer, hosting a workshop of decorating gingerbread men and snow globes before children get to meet the big man himself.

Children will also have the opportunity to choose their own gift from Mother Christmas’ toy shop.

The workshop takes place on December 10, 16, 17 and 23, with a limit of 60 children each day, priced at £25 and £5 for an adult which includes a hot drink.

Ian Flint, Chief Executive of the aerodrome, said: “I am delighted that Father Christmas will be occupying our Royal Engineers Workshop this Christmas. It is also the first time we’ve had reindeer on site so I hope they behave themselves! One of the things we specialise in at Stow is building memories – and I have no doubt these special days will stay with your family for many years to come.”
