STUDENTS at Ormiston Rivers Academy are celebrating after picking up their A Level results.
In total 94 per cent of grades were passes, 60 per cent were A* to C grades, 37 per cent A* to B grades and 14 per cent A* to A grades.
It marks a significant increase in the number of top grades at A Level achieved by students at the academy.
The academy’s average academic grade was boosted almost a whole grade to C, and the average academic points score was up by five percentage points to 29.
Joan Costello, Principal of Ormiston Rivers Academy, said: “We are absolutely delighted with the outstanding results achieved by our Year 13 students today.
“All of our students have worked incredibly hard for their results and should be really proud. I would also like to thank our brilliant teachers and supportive parents for their contribution to today’s success.
“We wish all our Year 13 leavers the very best for the future.”
