A BURNHAM man has admitted killing a woman in a caravan park.

Skye Page, 37, of Dunkirk Road, Burnham, admitted killing Carolyn Hill, 51, at St Lawrence Holiday Park but denied her murder.

Page appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court today, via video link, and admitted one count of manslaughter.

Judge Patricia Lynch QC heard Page’s pleas, which he made from Chelmsford Prison.

Page was first arrested after an incident at 10.45am on Monday, April 17, at the caravan park, off Main Road, St Lawrence.

Mrs Hill died at the scene.

A murder trial is due to take place from October 2.

The Crown Prosecution Service is now waiting for a pathology report before it decides whether to accept his plea to manslaughter or continue with a trial for murder.

Page remains remanded in custody.

He denies murder.
