A HEALTH and wellbeing fair, teaching residents about personal safety, is set to launch in Latchingdon.

The fair, organised by Maldon District Council, will be held at the Jack’s Centre, in Burnham Road, Latchingdon, on July 13.

The event will feature presentations from the fire service, Essex Police, and health and fitness professionals.

They will talk about personally safety and how to improve health and wellbeing.

Councillor Bob Boyce MBE, chairman of the community services committee, said: “Supporting our residents to live healthier, more active lives is a key objective for the Council.

“This Health and Wellbeing Fair will be a great opportunity for people to get advice and inspiration. The fair will be informative and vibrant and will benefit the whole community.”

There will also be groups and organisations based within the district from across the health, fitness and wellbeing industry.
