Ambulance crews on scene after car overturns in road
AMBULANCE crews are on scene in Lower Burnham Road after a car overturned.
A rapid response vehicle and air ambulance are currently attending an incident on the road near Althorne after a vehicle overturned.
An ambulance service spokesman confirmed crews were attending the incident but could not confirm how many people were involved or injured.
Update 6.39pm: An Essex Police spokesman said: "Police were called shortly after 3.30pm on Wednesday June 21 with reports a Ford Fiesta had left the road and overturned in Lower Burnham Road, Althorne.
"Two people were trapped inside. Emergency services remain at the scene."
