A BUSINESSWOMAN is opening a new store in Burnham which will specialise in unisex jeans.

Jane Williams, who also runs Hypnotherapy Essex on Burnham High Street, is opening a branch of Pink Cola on Saturday in the high street.

The store will sell unisex male and female shoes, ethical jeans and t-shirts as well as special collections. There will also be dirty velvet T-shirts, monkey Genes jeans and hey dude shoes.

The grand opening of the store on Saturday will coincide with Burnham Art Trail, and will have fun and games, entertainments, face-painting and a Prosecco reception.

Jane will be jointly managing the store and her hypnotherapy centre, and if successful, hopes to hire more staff in the future.

She said: “I’ve had some incredible feedback from people in the run up to the shop opening, it’s nice to be able to have a clothing brand opening in the high street again.

“The grand opening will really be about bringing the ethos of a lovely, relaxed weekend shop.

“It’ll be on the same day as the Burnham Art Trail, so there’ll be lots going on. It’s nice to portray Burnham as a peaceful place to be, there’s been several incidents recently of negative or worrying actions, but that’s not what Burnham should be viewed as.

“I’ll be jointly running this and my hypnotherapy centre once it opens, and if it does catch on I’ll hopefully hire some staff to help out.”

The grand opening takes place on Saturday on Burnham High Street from midday to 4pm.
